Today, I went to a computer repair shop and told them about the issue. They said that something that helps it start (I forgot what it was) is corrupted and the only way to get it fixed was to do a fresh reset which will cost me $100. This means that everything from the FLA files to my cartoons, unpublished art and animations, my MUGEN creations, and other things will be gone! Although, they can save the files before resetting it, but it’ll most me more. Another solution was to just save up money to get a fresh PC. But this doesn’t mean I won’t be making art anymore, as I’ll be active on my art thread. Or course, I’ll keep you updated if anything happens. This is Carcitypilot signing out!

Just recently, my computer unexpectedly crashed before I was about to upload something here. After going through the “unable to complete the update” thing, I was met with this:

This isn’t the first time this happened, those were solved by System Restore. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any saved points this time…

Now, I’m trying to see if the other options will help save my PC. I’ve been doing art on this PC since 2016 and I currently don’t have the money to get a new one if none of the recovery options work (or use the ‘Reset this PC’ thing). So for the time being you won’t be seeing any new art from me. Instead, I’ll be posting traditional over on my art thread. I’ll follow up if anything happens. This is Carcitypilot signing out!

For quite some time, I've thought about the future of my characters, part of that is having merchandise and movies. I know something like that happening is unlikely, but it would be nice to have shirts, action figures, bobbleheads, buttons, and plushies made of Avery, Liz, Veronica, Pink the Fink, Robert Bloke, and others. However, I'm afraid that they'll become overexposed and milked to death like Spongebob, so it would be best to start off small if it ever becomes a reality.

Besides merch, I've also thought about movies based off my works. It's rare for internet media to be adapted into movies and are mostly hit or miss. Personally, I think Venomous J. Viper and Robert Bloke could work as movies despite the latter not having much stuff to build off of. If a movie was ever made, I would be onboard with the production to make sure that it's as faithful to the source material as possible, and doing fun little promotions like this:

In conclusion, I'm uncertain about what the future has in store for my characters. After all, I'm just a cartoonist doing art for fun!

It’s snowing like mad in my area, which means schools are closed! I don’t have any major plans for today, I’ll be drawing some art and maybe do a Robert Bloke comic after neglecting the series for so long (a Robert Bloke comic on a Monday!?). Besides doing that, I’m planning on reading some of the comics I have in my collection (for inspiration and such). Or just sleep-in for half of the day! This is gonna be fun!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone in Newgrounds land! I've had a whole lot of fun here since I've made this account at the start of 2024 and I want to thank everyone I've met here! I hope everyone has a swell new year, too!

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No! It's Avery Humberfloob! Yep, our boy Avery takes to the sky in his upcoming short Believe It or Not, Avery's Walking on Air! This was a little idea I had where Avery flies in a Greatest American Hero suit while singing the show's theme song. What else would happen? He might just smack into something for a cheap laugh (oh fudge, I just spoiled it!!).

Since Thanksgiving's in a few weeks, I have an idea for a cartoon featuring parodies of the Griffin family from the world of Family Gut (which is a typo I sometimes do). It may involve them getting Thanksgiving food and funny things happen involving cutaway gags, fart jokes, pop culture references, and humorous beatings. And hey, you might see Avery fight the Frizzies at eleven! Let me know what you think?
