you should get a flash drive to save art on and if you can't save your pc look into saving your hdd if possible
If all else fails, perhaps you could use the opportunity to explore physical mediums such as construction paper like South Park or drawing your characters on index cards and have them interact with your collectables.

If you have a USB drive on you, could reinstalling the OS work out?
(Or if you're sick of Windows by this point, install a Linux Distro)

Unfortunately, I don’t have any USB drives. Reinstalling it could work for me, I just have to reinstall the Programs I use.
