Just came back from seeing The Day the Earth Blew Up, or as this sign likes to call it; Day the Ear; and BOY was it fun! I enjoyed the goofy animation and expressions, especially coming from Daffy and I gotten some laughs out of it.
I couldn’t find the poster in the hall to take a picture but I gotten this. They had a small stack of these at the front counter.

Ketchup Entertainment owns the American distribution rights for the film. That’s how it was able to be released.

I see.
It's pretty rare to see a 2d movie get released, especially after Pixars 3d takeover
in the 90's.
Hopefully we'll see more of this in the future.

Nope. It was theatrically released via Ketchup Entertainment.
